Waiting tickets

Designs for waiting ticket in the butchers.

Open/Closed Development

I made the back legs more slightly ajar to make them look limp. Added 'Sorry we are'.Made the 'we are' because it didn't look right in the circle
Tried the sorry in a dotted circle but still not there
Experimented with the 'Y' on 'Sorry'
made the 'Sorry' bigger but the spacing isn't right
Placed the logo at the bottom which makes up for the akward spacing.
Went onto the OPEN sign. So I turned the pig the right way up and gave him an eye.
The 'yes' didn't look right with all capitols so I changed it.
I kerned the OPEN so it filled the lines and is similar to the 'closed'

Open/Closed

After my progress crit with Mr. Fred he suggested to have a bit more fun and put more of my personality into the designs with subtle hints of humour.

So I cam up with the idea of an open and close sign where the pig on it is dead when its closed and alive when its open.

Added in a tounge hanging out of its mouth, but it doesn't work.

Wrapping

To broaden the range part of the branding. The idea of different animals on each wrapping paper so the customer knows which one is which.

This design used tessellating pigs. With the logo, it ain't right though.
I tried colour coordinating them so it would be even easier to tell them apart. The colours are a bit garish and don't fit in with the rest of the branding style. Use of typography may make it better.

Need to break up the tessellation because it reminds me to much of tyre tracks
